K911 To The Rescue!
Help Us Give the Underdogs of the World a New Leash on Life
Save-A-Pet recently announced the launch of our new "K911" program, which is aimed at rescuing the most at-risk dogs from high-kill shelters. In the past, most of these dogs would've been euthanized due to age or medical conditions that would've precluded them from being adopted.
Many of the dogs the K911 program will save are adoptable with medical intervention, but WE NEED YOUR HELP to give them a new leash on life!
Toto, a male, 16-year-old Cairn Terrier is one of K911's first rescues. While he has cataracts and other medical issues due to age, Toto is otherwise a wonderful dog who would make a great family pet — yet he was almost euthanized! Toto — like so many older dogs with medical conditions — deserves to live out his remaining days in a loving home.
Save-A-Pet has done a complete medical evaluation on Toto, including blood work and X-rays, and a tumor was discovered behind his hind quarters. The cost of his surgery is extremely expensive…and here's where YOU come in. Please consider a DONATION to the K911 program. Your money will go directly to work for innocent, at-risk dogs like Toto, so that they are given a fighting chance at a loving, forever home.
We thank you.
