On June 8, over 100 dogs joined their owners at Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc.s 15th Annual Hounds on the Sound 3K Dog Walk and Adoption Event at the Port Jefferson Harbor Memorial Park. Participants took part in the walk and enjoyed live music, contests, raffles, vendors and food.

Those in attendance had the opportunity to enter in raffles and contests, which offered prizes for different categories such as Best Dog/Owner Look-Alike, Smallest Dog, and Biggest Dog.

Save-A-Pet also had animals available for adoption throughout the day to help their furry friends find a forever, loving home. Those who visited Save-A-Pets table also had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of adoption, as opposed to purchasing an animal from a pet store.
